As we start 2025, I think it is very important for you as members to know what some of our strategic goals will be this year. We do a lot more than just conducting membership drives and hosting special events during the year. Here are some of our goals:

• We will be establishing a 501(c) 3 foundation with the emphasis on regional economic development and workforce initiatives
• We will continue our commitment to seek additional funding for our career pathway program which we have been successfully managing along with nine high schools and the NH School of Mechanical Trades
• We will be initiating a future resiliency plan for our members and our five communities
• We will build more programs that will focus on economic mobility and workforce diversity
• We will enhance our already strong relationship with the Hampton Beach Village District and build a strategy around attracting more tourists and visitors to the seacoast area
• We will be proactive through our public policy committee by advocating to local, state and federal elected officials on policies and regulations that have a direct impact on our business community

Along with committing to work on these goals, it is also important that you know the Chamber represents every member through participation in many state and local organizations such as:

• Town of Hampton Master Plan Implementation Committee
• The Hampton Beach Area Commission
• The NH Seabrook/Hampton Bridge Advisory Council
• The NH DOT Ocean Blvd Reconstruction Project Advisory Council
• The Regional Economic Development Corporation Advisory Council
• The NH State Parks Advisory Council
• The NH Travel and Tourism Council
• The NH Business and Industry Association

So as you can see, we continue to be very busy twelve months of the year following the Chamber's Mission to serve our business and non-profit members and our five communities.
