DECEMBER MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

DECEMBER MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

To all of our Chamber's Members, Families and Friends,

On behalf of the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Staff, we would like to wish all of you a Happy & Safe Holiday Season. Although many of us faced many challenges this year, we all somehow managed to keep on going and show strength through unity and community support. Ending this year, we continue with a strong membership base, great results from our events and programs and most importantly, a continuing our commitment to serve our community in the best way possible.

As we look towards 2025, I am excited to share that our team is committed to maintain and grow our membership and to sponsor with the help of many of you our annual events throughout the 2025 season. Fundraising events are an important part of keeping the Chamber financially stable, but as important , working with our community partners on programs such as "Kites against Cancer", our annual Senior Day Cookout, serving meals at the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen, and Law Enforcement's Annual Night Out will continue to be an important focus for all of us. We are also committing to helping our communities build economic development strategies that support the resiliency and vibrancy of each individual community.

Finally, as you will read in this newsletter, we want you to mark down two important events. First, our Annual Dinner and Awards event is coming up on January 23rd where once again, we will be honoring some of our members and community partners and highlighting their significant achievements. I would ask all of you to consider buying a ticket in honoring our award recipients. Also, I am excited to have Sal Lupoli from Lupoli & Company attend and to kick off our evening program as our guest speaker. The second event is two days earlier on the 21st that will be a free community event focusing on are we prepared as a community for different types of disasters.

So, enjoy the holidays with families and friends and we will see you all in 2025!

John
